St. Xavier’s College, Kathmandu, is a Jesuit institution of higher learning, managed by the Nepal Jesuit Society. The Jesuits began their educational work in Nepal in 1951, establishing several schools across the country. Challenge
St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, needed a structured training program to develop leadership skills in their full-time teaching staff. They wanted to build a pipeline of future leaders but weren’t sure what kind of training was required.

Solution:
I conducted a Training Needs Assessment (TNA) to analyze skill gaps, which included document reviews, surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions. Based on this, we designed a 3-credit training course that covered leadership, strategic planning, and professional development.
